We open for submissions on November 1st of each year, and remain open until the following year’s issues are filled — usually in late January or February.
We appreciate a donation of $1 or more for each submission, but it is not a requirement, nor does it affect the acceptance or rejection of your work. Donations help offset editorial, design, and printing costs, and support exceptional quarterly issues, year after year.

Send up to 3 poems or flash fictions, as a Microsoft Word e-mail attachment (or similar program). Short fiction is also welcome; we prefer less than 3,000 words.
Please include your e-mail, postal address and a third-person bio (up to 60 words) with your poems and/or short fiction. Bio, e-mail and mailing address should be included at the end of each poem and/or short fiction, not on a separate document.

We do consider simultaneous submissions with proper notice, as well as previously published work if the original publishing credit is clearly stated.
Submissions that don’t follow our very simple guidelines will very likely be returned unread.
We usually take 1–4 weeks to respond, depending on turnaround time among editors.
