Ruth Moon Kempher, born in 1934, is an American poet, fiction writer, critic, teacher, editor, and publisher whose work has appeared in journals since the late 1950s. She has published more than thirty collections, including What I Can Tell You, winner of the Bright Hill Press Poetry Book Award. For more than two decades she taught English in Florida. Through Kings Estate Press, founded in the 1990s, Kempher has published and illustrated the work of numerous poets and independent writers.
